Can this stone be used as a back shield for a wood burning fireplace?

However, while the stone veneer itself is non-combustible, the substrate and adhesives used during installation may be affected by heat exposure. Fire codes, local building codes, and manufacturer recommendations specify safe clearances from heat sources. For example: wood-burning stoves typically require a minimum clearance of 12-36 inches from combustible materials. Fireplaces and BBQs should have a protective barrier or non-combustible backing to prevent heat transfer. Always check fire codes, local building codes and the manufacturer’s guidelines to determine the correct clearance for your project. Our stone veneer should never come in direct contact with flames such as (but not limited to) inside a firebox. For installations near heat sources where fire codes, local building codes, and minimum clearances from heat sources have not been followed, warranty claims will be denied. What is your minimum order to include shipping for normal sizes of stone… in square feet. Your samples, in my opinion are two small at 6x6 inches? I hope to purchase several hundred square feet.

I live in a double wide mobile home. Can I use this product for under pinning, and will it stand up to a weed eater and the weather?

When using our stone veneer for underpinning, it's important to maintain the recommended ground clearance to ensure durability and prevent moisture-related issues. I have 14"x14" concrete columns to wrap. Do you have matching corner pieces?

The easiest way to determine the square footage of stone veneer flats you will need is to measure the length and to measure the height of the area you will be installing our stone veneer on and multiply them together to get the total square footage of stone veneer flats needed for your project. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners as our corners are sold by the lineal foot. On each product page there are options for both flats and corners (to the right of the main product image). Outside corners are different from inside corners. For inside corners, our flats are used. Simply run a flat piece into the corner and then a flat piece on the adjacent side. How long is it taking to get samples?

Most sample orders will ship the next day if ordered by 5:00PM EST and the sample is in stock, otherwise sample orders will ship within 3 to 5 business days (up to 2 to 3 weeks during peak seasons).
