This stone has drastic variations of thickness, depth, and character copied directly from nature. The stacked stone pattern is clean, contemporary and a favorite among designers and architects. Mountain View Stone stack stone is available in boxes of 10 square foot flats, boxes of 7.5 lineal foot matching corners, and 150 square foot bulk crates.

Questions & Answers
Ask a question-
Hello, I\'m working on putting together an order for the stack stone black forest and have a question on the corners. From the website, you sell 1 box of corners at 7.5 linear feet increments. Does this mean that I can cover a corner that is 7.5 feet high with 1 box? So, if I have two corners that are floor to ceiling (14 feet), I will need 4 boxes of corner stock? A drawing on the website would really help with this question. Please let me know as I would like to order as soon as possible. Thank you.
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The easiest way to determine the square footage of stone veneer flats you will need is to measure the length and to measure the height of area you will be installing our stone veneer on and multiply them together to get the total square footage of stone veneer flats needed for your project. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners. On each product page there is a drop-down box titled size (to the right of the main product image), corners are listed as an option in the drop-down box. Please feel free to email us the dimensions of your project at info@mountainviewstone.net and we can help you estimate the number of corners and flats you will need to complete your project. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

What is the timeline for a large order? I am looking to get stack stone black forest, 1,000 square foot flats and 150 lineal foot in corners. Are these ready to be manufactured or ready to ship or what is the timeline from purchase to delivery to Las Vegas 89131?

Can you install this product directly on painted drywall? Any special requirements if installing on a 15' tall wall?
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our installation instructions can be downloaded at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. For the surface prep, which is the most important step, you will need to install a moisture barrier and then install wire lath over that. Make sure the nails or screws for wire lath hit studs to ensure a good foundation. Your scratch coat goes over the wire lath and then the stone veneer. We recommend our stone veneer and brick veneer be installed with Type S mortar. Mortar is recommended for installation opposed to an adhesive as mortar is cheaper than adhesive, and when installing with an adhesive you must hold the stone in place until the adhesive sets which really slows down installation time, whereas mortar instantly holds. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Can this be applied over stucco?

You can check by tapping the stucco in various places with a rubber mallet. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
