Mountain View Stone ledgestone aspen stone veneer captures the serene beauty of nature with its gentle blend of soft grays, muted whites, and warm taupes, reminiscent of aspen tree bark. This calming stone veneer creates a light and airy atmosphere, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor applications. The textured design of ledgestone adds depth and visual interest, enhancing features such as accent walls, fireplaces, and exterior facades. Our aspen ledgestone has versatile tones that complement a variety of architectural styles, from contemporary to traditional, offering a refined, organic aesthetic that brings the tranquility of the outdoors inside.

Mountain View Stone ledge stone is made up of a variety of irregular shapes and sizes and roughly textured to create its rugged appeal. This versatile pattern will create a dramatic impression on the interior or exterior of your next project. This profile was created using a unique blend of natural stones. Ledge stone can also be blended with field stone to create an old-style rustic look.

Ledge stone is an individual stone veneer product measuring 1" to 2" thick and therefore thinner than traditional stone siding for easier, lighter handling. All our manufactured stone veneer products are suitable for interior applications such as stone accent walls or stone fireplaces as well as exterior applications such as stone veneer siding. Mountain View Stone ledge stone is available in boxes of 10 square foot flats, boxes of 7.5 lineal foot matching corners, and 150 square foot bulk crates.

It came out amazing. I love the way it looks. House is still under construction but the veneer looks great.

We are satisfied with the product and think it looks great. We have had several compliments from neighbors, passers by, UPS drivers, etc. The stone seems to be a good product but is very time consuming to install. Granted this was our first attempt at stack stone.

I really wish that the photos would match the product. I bought 75 square feet of this stone based on the vibrant colors after the install and sealer. But after I received the stone and looked at it, I realized that even after the sealer, the colors will be, and are as dull as can be. I understand that this is a lower cost product, but for the price and cost of shipping ($200 for 75 square feet) you would think there would be a little more. My fireplace wall now reminds me and looks like an old jail house that I once took a tour through.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • I am interested in your products mainly ledge stone aspen. Is this a sheet or individual stone? If it is in sheets approximately how much would a 150 square foot pallet ship for to a 54806 location and the price for the stone? Would there be a specific amount less if we would buy 2 pallets or 300 square feet? Please let me know thank you.

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our ledge stone profile is not a panel system, they are individual stones. There are 10 square feet of flats per box and 7.5 lineal feet of corners per box. The individual stones will vary in size, shape, and thickness. To achieve the desired natural stone finish as shown in our images it is up to the installer to arrange the individual stones in the correct pattern and install each stone one at a time. If you are looking for a panel system, our ready stack profile is a mini panel stone product and is installed in sections at a time https://mountainviewstone.net/collections/ready-stack. Each panel measures 4” high but will vary in length (5.5”, 8.25”, 11”, 16.5”) and thickness (1.5”-2.5”). Each ready stack panel has multiple stones on each panel face. To achieve the desired finish as shown in our images it is up to the installer to arrange the panels in the correct pattern and install each panel one at a time. Our pricing is available on our website. As our pricing can change it is best to view the price on each product page prior to placing your order. Our website has a built-in freight calculator, simply add products to your cart, add your delivery address, and you will be provided with shipping options including shipping costs as well as estimated delivery times. Shipping costs will vary depending on the amount of stone veneer you purchase and where the product is being shipped to. Please note that the estimated delivery times do not include production times as our items are made to order. Currently our production lead time is around four – six weeks. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • 5 box minimum?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our website has a minimum order in place for all products to prevent damage during shipping. Unfortunately, an order for less than the minimum cannot be placed. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • How does my order get delivered? Piggyback service or pallet jack?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The delivery truck will have a liftgate and pallet jack to unload your order, no loading dock required, but it is a lot easier to unload and move around with a forklift if available on site. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • I am interested in your products and would like to know if there is anywhere near me that I can view your products in person?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our production facility is in Fair Play, South Carolina which is in the upstate of South Carolina, but we ship orders all over the country. Unfortunately, we do not sell through local distributors, only via our website. We have several images on our website, however you can see all of our images on our Pinterest gallery https://www.pinterest.com/mountainviewstone. All of our completed installation images are customer submitted and they are true to color, we do not enhance or manipulate our photos at all. There may be some differences from image to image, however this variation is caused by different lighting conditions and image quality. We offer samples of all of our brick veneer and stone veneer at https://mountainviewstone.net/collections/samples. Our samples, on average cover a 6"x6" area and are actual product. Our samples allow you to see and touch the product and get a good understanding of weight, thickness, color and color variation, etc. We encourage all of our customers to test our samples to ensure they meet your standards and expectations, and of course if you have any questions please let us know, we are more than happy to help you! And as an added bonus when you purchase Mountain View Stone samples, we cover the shipping (applies to the continental USA. For orders shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico please contact us for shipping rates). You can order a sample of the specific product you are looking at here https://mountainviewstone.net/products/ledge-stone-aspen-sample. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • How much product will I need to cover 450 square feet?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The easiest way to determine the square footage of stone veneer flats you will need is to measure the length and to measure the height of area you will be installing our stone veneer on and multiply them together to get the total square footage of stone veneer flats needed for your project. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners as our corners are sold by the lineal foot. On each product page there are options for both flats and corners (to the right of the main product image). Please feel free to email us the dimensions of your project at info@mountainviewstone.net and we can help you estimate the number of corners and flats you will need to complete your project. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • Is this real stone or manufactured stone?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our stone veneer is man-made of Portland cement. Mountain View Stone strictly monitors every step of the production process for quality control. Made with Color Lock Technology, the face color has bonding agents in it to help protect against fading from harsh environmental conditions, cleaners, and even pressure washing (see our installation and maintenance documents for more information) at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • Hi there, I am wondering if the stone veneer can be directly installed to cement board or GoBoard. I would like to install it to GoBoard. if your familiar with that product do you know if it will work without the need for lathe on interior accent wall?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our installation instructions can be downloaded at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. For the surface prep, which is the most important step, you will need to install a moisture barrier and then install wire lath over that. Make sure the nails or screws for wire lath hit studs to ensure a good foundation. Your scratch coat goes over the wire lath and then the stone veneer. We recommend our stone veneer and brick veneer be installed with Type S mortar. Mortar is recommended for installation opposed to an adhesive as mortar is cheaper than adhesive, and when installing with an adhesive you must hold the stone in place until the adhesive sets which really slows down installation time, whereas mortar instantly holds. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • Hello, I would like to order a 150 square foot bulk crate of your ledge stone aspen. How many corners will be included roughly in this box and can I order additional corners for a different project?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our 150 square foot bulk crates contain 150 square feet of flats only. Our corners are offered in lineal foot cases and sold separately.

  • Hello, I am planning on installing either your ledge stone or lime stone to my indoor fireplace wall. Right now, it is only painted drywall. How do I prep this surface? Thank you.
