A classic hand chiseled stone with a distinctive embedded rough texture precisely designed to mimic quarried and cut lime stone. Mountain View Stone lime stone tuscany is shaped for bold, traditional statements with clean contemporary lines. Its old-world appearance with rugged rectangular ashlar shapes lends itself to a wide variety of architectural styles adding elegance to any residential or commercial application. Also known as rough cut or Austin stone. Lime stone is a stone veneer product measuring 1.5" to 2.5" thick and therefore thinner than traditional stone siding for easier, lighter handling. All our manufactured stone veneer products are suitable for interior applications such as stone accent walls or stone fireplaces as well as exterior applications such as stone veneer siding. Mountain View Stone lime stone is available in boxes of 10 square foot flats, boxes of 6 lineal foot matching corners, and 150 square foot bulk crates.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Hi, we are installing two side walls at our home in Boca Raton, FL that we would like to cover in a stone veneer. We found you online and have seen some examples on Houzz, and we are wondering a couple things. Are there any installations of any of your products that we could see in Southeast Florida Jupiter to Miami? What kind of lead times are you currently providing for lime stone (does color mater?) and field stone? And if we wanted a mixture of lime stone with field stone or ledge stone… Before we go too far down a path of trying to get your product, we would like to understand your current manufacturing situation. We are seeing some incredibly long lead times from other vendors, but do not have visibility to whether that is site related or industry shortage across the board.

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. We have several images on our website, however you can see all of our images on our Pinterest gallery https://www.pinterest.com/mountainviewstone. All of our completed installation images are customer submitted and they are true to color, we do not enhance or manipulate our photos at all. There may be some differences from image to image, however this variation is caused by different lighting conditions and image quality. We offer samples of all of our brick veneer and stone veneer at https://mountainviewstone.net/collections/samples. Our samples, on average cover a 6"x6" area and are actual product. Our samples allow you to see and touch the product and get a good understanding of weight, thickness, color and color variation, etc. We encourage all of our customers to test our samples to ensure they meet your standards and expectations, and of course if you have any questions please let us know, we are more than happy to help you! And as an added bonus when you purchase Mountain View Stone samples, we cover the shipping (applies to the continental USA. For orders shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico please contact us for shipping rates). You can order a sample of the specific product you are looking at here https://mountainviewstone.net/products/lime-stone-tuscany-sample. Our website has a built-in freight calculator, simply add products to your cart, add your delivery address, and you will be provided with shipping options including shipping costs as well as estimated delivery times. Shipping costs will vary depending on the amount of stone veneer you purchase and where the product is being shipped to. Please note that the estimated delivery times do not include production times as our items are made to order. Currently our production lead time is around four – six weeks. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • Is there a sealant or coating to apply to bring out the color?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. A concrete sealer is not required, however, sealing with a concrete sealer will add protection especially over the mortar joints. Please keep in mind that different concrete sealers will affect the appearance of the stone veneer. A matte (or flat) finish will have little to know impact to the finished look of the stone veneer whereas a gloss finish will darken the stone veneer and have a wet look. We recommend testing your concrete sealer on a piece of stone veneer that has not been installed to ensure you are happy with the finished appearance after applying concrete sealer. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • How would the 150 square foot box or crate be delivered? Does a truck unload with a pallet jack or is a loading dock needed? Could I arrange my own shipping if possible?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The delivery truck will have a liftgate and pallet jack to unload your order, no loading dock required, but it is a lot easier to unload and move around with a forklift if available on site. Our production facility is in Fair Play, South Carolina which is in the upstate of South Carolina, but we ship orders all over the country. Orders can be picked up from our location, however we do need to process the order manually as our website does not allow you to select pick up as an option at this time. Please feel free to email us at info@mountainviewstone.net and we can help you process an order via pick up. Please note our items are made to order. Currently our production lead time is around four – six weeks. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • What is the weight of a 150 square foot box of your field stone? What are the dimensions of your box with 150 square feet of stone?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Each 10 square foot box weighs roughly 80-90lbs and corners weigh roughly 70-80lbs per box. Each 150 square foot box weighs roughly 1450lbs. Pallet dimensions for a 150 square foot pallet are 48" x 40" x 28". Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • Good afternoon, I need to know how many boxes of 6 lineal foot corners I would need to complete 32’ wide x 22’ high front of my house? Thanks.

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The easiest way to determine the square footage of stone veneer flats you will need is to measure the length and to measure the height of area you will be installing our stone veneer on and multiply them together to get the total square footage of stone veneer flats needed for your project. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners as our corners are sold by the lineal foot. On each product page there are options for both flats and corners (to the right of the main product image). Please feel free to email us the dimensions of your project at info@mountainviewstone.net and we can help you estimate the number of corners and flats you will need to complete your project. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • Good evening, can you advise if you deliver to England? Your lime stone Tuscany is the best I have seen. Many thanks.

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Unfortunately, we do not ship overseas. You would need to arrange your own shipping service in order to proceed with an order. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • Do you have any installation instructions you can share with me?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our installation instructions can be downloaded at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. For the surface prep, which is the most important step, you will need to install a moisture barrier and then install wire lath over that. Make sure the nails or screws for wire lath hit studs to ensure a good foundation. Your scratch coat goes over the wire lath and then the stone veneer. We recommend our stone veneer and brick veneer be installed with Type S mortar. Mortar is recommended for installation opposed to an adhesive as mortar is cheaper than adhesive, and when installing with an adhesive you must hold the stone in place until the adhesive sets which really slows down installation time, whereas mortar instantly holds. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

  • What is the lime stone tuscany stone made of? Are they only cement or are they concrete? If they are a composite, what are the ingredients in what ratios?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our stone veneer is man-made of Portland cement. Mountain View Stone strictly monitors every step of the production process for quality control. Made with Color Lock Technology, the face color has bonding agents in it to help protect against fading from harsh environmental conditions, cleaners, and even pressure washing (see our installation and maintenance documents for more information) at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. • What do you recommend for an adhesive for the rock going on exterior block work of house? What would you recommend for interior install over rock board on fireplace?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our stone veneer is suitable for interior and exterior installations, including fireplaces. Our installation instructions can be downloaded at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. • Can we use your lime stone tuscany as pavers on a fireplace apron? If not, do you have a product you would recommend? What are your shipping costs?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our stone veneer is suitable for interior and exterior installations, including fireplaces. We do not recommend using our stone veneer for a flat surface as the variation in depth would create an uneven surface. The product you are looking for would be a paver or a natural flagstone, which unfortunately we do not manufacture. Our website has a built-in freight calculator, simply add products to your cart, add your delivery address, and you will be provided with shipping options including shipping costs as well as estimated delivery times. Shipping costs will vary depending on the amount of stone veneer you purchase and where the product is being shipped to.
