Lime Stone - Tuscany
A classic hand chiseled stone with a distinctive embedded rough texture precisely designed to mimic quarried and cut lime stone. Lime stone is shaped for bold, traditional statements with clean contemporary lines. Its old-world appearance with rugged rectangular ashlar shapes lends itself to a wide variety of architectural styles adding elegance to any residential or commercial application. Also known as rough cut or Austin stone. Lime stone is a stone veneer product measuring 1.5" to 2.5" thick and therefore thinner than traditional stone siding for easier, lighter handling. All our manufactured stone veneer products are suitable for interior applications such as stone accent walls or stone fireplaces as well as exterior applications such as stone veneer siding. Lime stone is available in boxes of 10 square foot flats, boxes of 6 lineal foot matching corners, and 150 square foot bulk crates.

Lime stone is an individual stone product and is installed piece by piece. The individual stones will vary in size, shape, and thickness. In order to achieve the desired natural stone finish as shown in our images it is up to the installer to arrange the individual stones in the correct pattern and install each stone one at a time. This product is made of Portland cement and we recommend installing using a Type S mortar.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERSAsk a Question
Hi, we are installing two side walls at our home in Boca Raton, FL that we would like to cover in a stone veneer. We found you online and have seen some examples on Houzz, and we are wondering a couple things. Are there any installations of any of your products that we could see in Southeast Florida Jupiter to Miami? What kind of lead times are you currently providing for lime stone (does color mater?) and field stone? And if we wanted a mixture of lime stone with field stone or ledge stone… Before we go too far down a path of trying to get your product, we would like to understand your current manufacturing situation. We are seeing some incredibly long lead times from other vendors, but don’t have visibility to whether that is site related or industry shortage across the board.
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. We have several images on our website, however you can see all of our images on our Pinterest gallery https://www.pinterest.com/mountainviewstone/. We are about to begin installing our lime stone tuscany stone that we purchased from you. We do have some concerns about the color. Most of the stones are chalky grey/white and do not have the colors pictured online. Is there a sealant or coating to apply to bring out the color?
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The stone might be a little dusty or dirty from manufacturing and shipping. The colors are correct, the stone veneer might need to be brushed off before installing. A concrete sealer is not required, however, sealing with a concrete sealer will add protection especially over the mortar joints. Please keep in mind that different concrete sealers will affect the appearance of the stone veneer. A matte (or flat) finish will have little to know impact to the finished look of the stone veneer whereas a gloss finish will darken the stone veneer and have a wet look. We recommend testing your concrete sealer on a piece of stone veneer that has not been installed to ensure you are happy with the finished appearance after applying concrete sealer. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

How would the 150 square foot box or crate be delivered? Does a truck unload with a pallet jack or is a loading dock needed? Could I arrange my own shipping if possible?
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Each 150 square foot box weighs roughly 1450lbs. Pallet dimensions for a 150 square foot pallet are 48" x 40" x 28". The delivery truck will have a liftgate and pallet jack to unload your order, no loading dock required, but it is a lot easier to unload and move around with a forklift if available on site. Our production facility is in Fair Play, South Carolina which is in the upstate of South Carolina, but we ship orders all over the country. Orders can be picked up from our location, however we do need to process the order manually as our website does not allow you to select pick up as an option at this time. Please feel free to give us a call at 864-882-8960 Mon. - Fri. 8am - 5pm (EST) and we can help you process an order via pick up. Currently our production lead time is around two – three weeks. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
What is the weight of a 150 square foot box of your field stone? What are the dimensions of your box with 150 square feet of stone?
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Each 150 square foot box weighs roughly 1450lbs. Pallet dimensions for a 150 square foot pallet are 48" x 40" x 28". Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Good afternoon, I need to know how many boxes of 6 lineal foot corners I would need to complete 32’ wide x 22’ high front of my house? Thanks.
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The easiest way to determine the square footage of stone veneer flats you will need is to measure the length and to measure the height of area you will be installing our stone veneer on and multiply them together to get the total square footage of stone veneer flats needed for your project. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners. Please feel free to email us the dimensions of your project at email@example.com and we can help you estimate the number of corners and flats you will need to complete your project. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
Can we use your lime stone tuscany as pavers on a fireplace apron? If not, do you have a product you would recommend? What are your shipping costs?
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. We don’t recommend using our stone veneer for a flat surface as the variation in depth would create an uneven surface. The product you are looking for would be a paver or a natural flagstone or a manufactured flat hearthstone, which unfortunately we do not manufacture. Our website has a built-in freight calculator, simply add products to your cart, add your delivery address, and you will be provided with shipping options including shipping costs as well as estimated delivery times. Shipping costs will vary depending on the amount of stone veneer you purchase and where the product is being shipped to. Please note that the estimated delivery times do not include production times as some of our items are made to order. Currently our production lead time is around four – five weeks. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
