Sill
Sill
Mountain View Stones sill accessory is a functional and decorative element used to create a finished edge or transition in stone veneer installations. Commonly placed beneath windows, along ledges, or at the base of walls, these sills help direct water away from surfaces while adding a clean, polished look. Designed to mimic the appearance of natural stone, they are available in various styles and colors to complement the overall design. Lightweight and durable, they enhance both the aesthetic and practicality of stone veneer projects.
Finish your brick veneer or stone veneer siding project off with Mountain View Stone accessories. With three colors to choose from: Adobe, Buff, and Slate, you're sure to find exactly what you need to complete your renovation.
Sill dimensions: 18" x 2.5" x 3".
Our sills measure 3" deep, by 17.5" long, however, you will most likely have a grout joint in between them so for measuring purposes please use 18", by 2.5" tall in the back and 2" tall in the front as our sills have approximately a 1/2" slope from the back to the front for water runoff. Installation is easy, simply install the back flat to the wall, no need to tilt or angle them down. Also, our sills have a drip edge groove cut into the bottom side so water cannot run behind the stone veneer installed underneath the sills.
Please note: accessories are add on items and cannot be sold and shipped independently of stone veneer flats. Orders for accessories independent of stone veneer flats will be cancelled.

Where is your Michigan store located at?
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our production facility is in Fair Play, South Carolina which is in the upstate of South Carolina, but we ship orders all over the country. Unfortunately, we do not sell through local distributors, only via our website. We have several images on our website, however you can see all of our images on our Pinterest gallery https://www.pinterest.com/mountainviewstone. All of our completed installation images are customer submitted and they are true to color, we do not enhance or manipulate our photos at all. There may be some differences from image to image, however this variation is caused by different lighting conditions and image quality. We offer samples of all of our brick veneer and stone veneer at https://mountainviewstone.net/collections/samples. Our samples, on average cover a 6”x6” area and are actual product. Our samples allow you to see and touch the product and get a good understanding of weight, thickness, color and color variation, etc. We encourage all of our customers to test our samples to ensure they meet your standards and expectations, and of course if you have any questions please let us know, we are more than happy to help you! And as an added bonus when you purchase Mountain View Stone samples, we cover the shipping (applies to the continental USA. For orders shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico please contact us for shipping rates). Please let us know if you have any more questions!

What type of material are your stone veneer widow sills made of? Cement, plastic, polyurethane foam? Please clarify, your window sills are 18" x 2.5" x 3", is that 2.5" in high by 3" deep?
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our stone veneer is man-made of Portland cement. Mountain View Stone strictly monitors every step of the production process for quality control. Made with Color Lock Technology, the face color has bonding agents in it to help protect against fading from harsh environmental conditions, cleaners, and even pressure washing (see our installation and maintenance documents for more information) at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. Our sills measure 3" deep, by 17.5" long, however you will most likely have a grout joint in between them so for measuring purposes please use 18", by 2.5" tall in the back and 2" tall in the front as our sills have approximately a 1/2" slope from the back to the front for water runoff. Wondering how close a match your slate sills are to the stack stone black forest? The sills look much lighter than stack stone black forest and more towards the cool gray in color.
Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our accessories are not intended to be an exact match to any our stone veneer or brick veneer colors, they are intended to complement our stone veneer and brick veneer colors. Please let us know if you have any more questions!
