Ledge Stone - Chardonnay

I have the ledge stone chardonnay on the front of my home. I currently have a light mounted on one side of my garage on a block piece of the ledge stone in the chardonnay color. I want to mount a light on the opposite side for symmetry, and I am trying to acquire the block piece of stone needed to mount a light. Would you be able to help me or direct me to who could? I am located in Egg Harbor Twp. New Jersey. Thank you.

Hi there, I would like to seek assistance in reference to the ledge stone chardonnay, 30 square feet of flats, hoping you can assist us. The customer mentioned, he is interested in purchasing ledge stone chardonnay to cover his four pillars. He does not know how much to order and which types, flat or corners. His two smaller pillars are 12”x12”x20”. His two larger pillars are 18”x18”x48”. He does not plan on covering the back side of the larger pillars so if he orders the exact amount for these dimensions, he should not need to order 10% extra.

The easiest way to determine the square footage of stone veneer flats you will need is to measure the length and to measure the height of area you will be installing our stone veneer on and multiply them together to get the total square footage of stone veneer flats needed for your project. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners as our corners are sold by the lineal foot. On each product page there are options for both flats and corners (to the right of the main product image). Hi, can any of these stones be used on a curved concrete wall?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our stone veneer is suitable for interior and exterior installations, including curved surfaces. Our installation instructions can be downloaded at https://mountainviewstone.net/pages/post-purchase-support. For the surface prep, which is the most important step, you will need to install a moisture barrier and then install wire lath over that. Make sure the nails or screws for wire lath hit studs to ensure a good foundation. Your scratch coat goes over the wire lath and then the stone veneer. We recommend our stone veneer and brick veneer be installed with Type S mortar. Mortar is recommended for installation opposed to an adhesive as mortar is cheaper than adhesive, and when installing with an adhesive you must hold the stone in place until the adhesive sets which really slows down installation time, whereas mortar instantly holds.
