This stone veneer features rich, dark tones of deep grays, emulating the textured, rugged stone formations found in the Kona region. With its bold, earthy appearance, our kona fieldstone veneer is perfect for creating a dramatic yet natural look for both indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether used on a fireplace, accent wall, or exterior facade, it brings a touch of tropical sophistication and timeless beauty to any design.

Mountain View Stone field stone is a classic natural stone profile. The authentic rugged character captured in this pattern is truly remarkable. The timeless shapes and textures of field stone are reminiscent of stones found on farms across the country. Field stone is also known as random rock and is commonly combined with other patterns such as ledge stone to create an old-style rustic look. 

Field stone is an individual stone veneer product measuring 1" to 2" thick and therefore thinner than traditional stone siding for easier, lighter handling. All our manufactured stone veneer products are suitable for interior applications such as stone accent walls or stone fireplaces as well as exterior applications such as stone veneer siding. Mountain View Stone field stone is available in boxes of 10 square foot flats, boxes of 6 lineal foot matching corners, and 150 square foot bulk crates.

Stone flat dimensions:

Corner dimensions:

Height: varies to match stone style

Each 10 square foot box weighs roughly 80-90lbs and corners weigh roughly 70-80lbs per box. Each 150 square foot bulk crate weighs roughly 1450lbs.

Materials

Mountain View Stone field stone is produced by combining Portland cement, lightweight aggregate, and iron oxide mineral colors.

Minimum Order Details

All products have a minimum order quantity. Orders for less than the minimum order quantity will be cancelled.

Corners are add on items and cannot be sold and shipped independently of stone veneer flats, unless purchasing at least 10 boxes of corners. Orders for less than 10 boxes of corners independent of stone veneer flats will be cancelled.

Accessories are add on items and cannot be sold and shipped independently of stone veneer flats. Orders for accessories independent of stone veneer flats will be cancelled.

Please note: All of our stone veneer is made to order. Manufacturing time is currently 4-5 weeks. You will receive an email with an estimated ready to ship date after your order has been placed.

Installation Instructions

Field stone is an individual stone product and is installed piece by piece. The individual stones will vary in size, shape, and thickness. In order to achieve the desired natural stone finish as shown in our images it is up to the installer to arrange the individual stones in the correct pattern and install each stone one at a time.   • Is there a difference between architectural stone, cultured stone, and manufactured stone veneer?

Most stone veneer and brick veneer which are derived from molds and are made to look like natural stone siding or real brick siding are often referred to by any and all of these names.   • I have 2x - 15" x 15" x 16' tall columns and I would like to face all around with field stone kona. How many corner sections would I order to cover, and what would I order for single stones?

    Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The easiest way to determine the square footage of stone veneer flats you will need is to measure the length and to measure the height of area you will be installing our stone veneer on and multiply them together to get the total square footage of stone veneer flats needed for your project. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners as our corners are sold by the lineal foot. On each product page there are options for both flats and corners (to the right of the main product image). Please feel free to email us the dimensions of your project at info@mountainviewstone.net and we can help you estimate the number of corners and flats you will need to complete your project.   • I live in Idyllwild, CA 92549. Can your stone products be shipped here? And can I get a quote on your product?

  • Hi, do you know what kind of truck would be involved in the delivery?

    Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. The delivery truck will have a liftgate and pallet jack to unload your order, no loading dock required, but it is a lot easier to unload and move around with a forklift if available on site.
