We are about 1.5 hours away from you all in North Carolina. Would it be possible to call in our order, pay via credit card and pick it up when it is ready to avoid the shipping cost? We are trying to save where we can on this remodel, and we drive down to South Carolina often so we are hoping that may be an option. We would be ordering 10 boxes of the ready stack cool gray and 3 boxes of the corners.

I recently ordered a sample and received it with no problems. We decided to get more of the sample to get a realistic picture of what it would look like and so put 6 more samples in our cart. Now it gives a notice that you do not ship to Idaho. Is this accurate? What changed in the last few weeks?

Do I use the generic install instructions on your website for the ready stack product? It seems largely geared towards an exterior application, but we purchased our ready stack for an interior chimney box for a gas fireplace insert.

Installation is the exact same for ready stack as it is for all our stone veneer products. For the surface prep, which is the most important step, you will need to install a moisture barrier and then install wire lath over that. Make sure the nails or screws for wire lath hit studs to ensure a good foundation. Your scratch coat goes over the wire lath and then the stone veneer. We recommend our stone veneer and brick veneer be installed with Type S mortar. Mortar is recommended for installation opposed to an adhesive as mortar is cheaper than adhesive, and when installing with an adhesive you must hold the stone in place until the adhesive sets which really slows down installation time, whereas mortar instantly holds. We will be installing inside on a wall and front side of a bar, both surfaces are cement board, will we need a metal mesh on top of that or can the stone be cemented directly onto the cement board?

I would like to place our order of your ready stack cool gray stone. When I try to place an order online, it states that I must order a minimum of 6 x 9 square foot boxes when I only need 4. Is there a way for you guys to override that?

Do corners come with 150 square foot bulk case? If so, how many?

Thank you for your question and interest in our stone veneer. Our 150 square foot bulk crates contain 150 square feet of flats only. Our corners are offered in lineal foot cases and sold separately. Corners are not required but they offer a professional finish by wrapping perfectly around a 90 degree outside corner. If you decide to use corners you will need to calculate the lineal feet required by simply measuring the height of all outside corners as our corners are sold by the lineal foot. On each product page there are options for both flats and corners (to the right of the main product image). Please feel free to email us the dimensions of your project at info@mountainviewstone.net and we can help you estimate the number of corners and flats you will need to complete your project.
